Norton Safe Web Plus freezes when started

iOS 10.15, Safari 13.0.0.2, Norton Safe Web Plus 1.1.16

  1. Start 'Norton Safe Web Plus' 
  2. If Safari Extensions are not active a message is displayed and using the link I activate 'Norton Password Manager 1.1.16' and 'Norton Safe Web 1.0.100'. Returning to 'Norton Safe Web Plus' I proceeded.
  3. 'Norton Safe Web Plus' freezes with an empty screen and a spinning circle. The login to Norton does not display.

On the iMac + iBook Im using both Safari and Chrome browsers.

In Chrome I briefly activated the option that uses the mobile device to grant access to Norton Password Manager. Since then I have come back to the classic login in Chrome as I do not always have my mobile device in my pocket.
However, the issue with Safari with the inability to launch Norton Safe Web Plus (NSWP) started around the same time as the new Chrome login feature was introduced.
Therefore the two might be related. 

Since my last post I have contacted Norton Support and I was told, that the issue was placed with the technical people to look into it.

Same issue as others with SafeWeb locking up. I'm operating Mac OS Catalina 10.15.1 and using Safari

Correct, it's Mac OS 10.15.

Since the initial post I have contacted Norton assistance who is looking into it.

Just to clarify. You must be using Mac OS 10.15.  Not iOS.
