I'm trying to verify the site http://www.izzysmum.co.uk/ . I've tried both the file upload and the meta-tag method (both are currently in place), but every time I click "verify my site ownership" it tells me "verrification failed".
I think this may be because izzysmum.co.uk forwards to www.izzysmum.co.uk with a 301 redirect. This means when the robot tries to get the page or file it gets a redirect which it doesn't follow (this certainly looks to be the case from the server logs).
I can't see a way to register "www.izzysmum.co.uk" rather than "izzysmum.co.uk". Is there any way I can get my site verified?
