It’s good to see Norton is offering a similar service to McAfee in providing info regarding the safety of certain web sites. I noticed with interest that Google search pages would have the site results ranked by Norton as to their level of security. I was a bit curious as to how Norton could possibly rank every site listed, but what a great idea, if I understood it correctly. Google is becoming ever so more threatening as far a malicious sites in search results go, in particular of late where malicious sites can reportedly even bump themselves up on the search results list to entice the searcher to click on them. Scary. I have often thought that Google should have come up with some sort of an idea of security within their search engine. I know Norton has ways to go with this, but a really great idea.
I am having real problems contacting Norton regarding Safe Web, i recently changed my Online store URL, (my store has always been rated Safe by Norton but the change was neccessary) nd resubmitted to Safe Web for re-scan & verification on May 5th, this was supposed to take to weeks but scan has still not taken place and Norton have not replied to e-mail requesting help, I have Norton 360 on all my PC's but am frustrated at Norton's lack of help with this Safe Web issue whihc is costing me traffic!

J'ai téléchargé et installé les deux navigateurs en questions et - malgré la présence de N360 sur mon ordi, la fonctionnalité Safe Web ne s'est activée ni sur l'un ni sur l'autre et ce, malgré l'affichage de toutes les barres d'outils.... Voir copies d'écran.
Ceci dit, ta remarque est fort judicieuse et je suis certain que les développeurs de NIS et N360 vont prendre ta remarque très au sérieux et inclure ces navigateurs dans leurs prochaines versions.

Today (10/30/2022), Safe Web has not been working at all on either Firefox or Edge.
But get this, I come here to the Norton forums and it pops up with the green check mark. Norton should say something and say that they are working on this.
Also, once it starts working in the Norton Forums, it is working on all websites.

I have the same problem with Norton Safe Web for the last few days, which for me seemed to start after I updated Norton 360 to version 22.22.9.11 a few days ago. At the same time, I also updated my version of the Safe Web browser extension to 3.18.2.9. So I'm suspicious it was caused by one of those 2 updates.
Even for well-known reputed websites the icon only shows as green about half the time and is unpredictable. Sometimes if I later return to the site, it has turned green, only to become gray again on another visit. Even this Norton Forum tonight was showing as gray, but later I came back, and it was green. Since it's been reported in this thread by users of different browsers, I suspect it is a Norton problem, not a browser issue.
This is Friday 10/28/2022 Yesterday, Safe Web stopped showing me the green check mark only on DuckDuckgo search. Today it stopped showing the green check on all websites.
This was curiously after Firefox did an update to 106 a day ago. Today Firefox did another update to 106.0.2 and so far, the green check mark is working properly (Friday morn, right after the Firefox update).
I haven't tried the Edge browser lately, I'll check it.

I believe the Submit a Dispute is a feature for the site's developer. A general user can report false positive indications here https://submit.norton.com/?type=FP
Those notations now only work with Chrome browser. At this time, what you are seeing in Edge is the way it is designed. Not sure why the icons cannot be displayed in Firefox and Edge. It would seem to be some issue with the way those browsers handle extensions.
