Norton says On Public Network, Restricted Data. I'm on a Private Network. Change toggle not working.

Norton says “I’m on a Public Network and has Restricted Incoming Data” Button to CHANGE (to private) does Nothing. I’m on a Private Network Actually.

Had this a few times, as you say, no matter where you click, you get no response. In History you may find it reports something to the effect that it can’t find a network. A reboot will pick up your network & allocate it to Private. It not, it will now you to go into Smart Firewall/Network & change any way. Don’t know why it asks you change when you cant, either here or Smart Firewall Network settings. Never noticed with this issue in any loss of performance when on Network. Only issue is, it’s in the GUI but no other Notification received.
