Norton scam emails

The last few days i been getting what i think are scam emails. Saying my licence had expired, which is not true.

The latest email Norton licence renewal.  Antivirus protection update 2020/08/11 ( important)

Is there anyway i can forward these emails to Norton? And has anyone else received emails as well.

I am getting the same type of emails.  The address from the email is: EZnIvYOcfHahO72.2tJ4HtWRUBQ2YvY @ gkdnidyz30wam4d.us

If these emails all end with sbl-online . co . uk, you can just add that part to your block list and any further emails from that domain will be blocked regardless of whats in front of the @ sign.  If they come from different domains, all you can do is ignore and delete them.

Most of them pretty random but a couple from support@sbl-online.co.uk. I keep blocking them & deleting but they just keep coming as from so many different email addresses

Do these emails have the same domain, e.g., @ xyx dot com?

I receive several emails a day from "Norton" asking me to renew my subscription or telling me I have viruses on my computer.  They all have different email addresses and I wish I could stop them as they are driving me insane.  I have blocked them and reported as spam but as they are from different addresses, it doesn't stop them coming.

These are definitely not targeted emails. I have had similar emails for McAfee products, that I do not use.

Just be careful with your filters so you do not miss any legitimate Norton emails.

peterweb, doing screenshots of the spam emails is too complicated for me to do.  If i can't just forward these emails to someone who deal with spam, i will just ignore them and delete. I think these scam emails are sent out at random to anyone regardless if you are a Norton customer or not.

Glad I'm not the only one receiving these emails. I will follow John belley advice and ignore these emails and add them to my block list.

I also recevie some emails from norton and i just ignore that. They're might scam better to be more carefull

Thanks for letting us know

@sparks118

I've been asked if you could post a screenshot of the email (sender ID, subject line but after masking your information)

Instructions to post screenshots can be found here

Another two emails renew now, your Norton license needs renewal. I don't need to renew until next year, so know they are scams. Pity i can't forward these scam emails to a dept that deals with this.  Anyone else getting these renew your subscription emails, or it it just me?

Just to get ready for any reply from someone that is looking into these scams, Save these emails as a .eml file somewhere on your system. That is the format requested by the team looking into these emails.

Thank you. I have now received another 2 spam emails, have now moved them to my spam folder. The emails are from different senders

I have escalated your concern. It is the weekend so you may have to wait a day or so for some response.

If the emails were from different senders, try moving the deleted emails from the trash to your spam/junk folder, so they will be available to be sent to when you are contacted.

The sender email link is not Norton, can these emails be forward to Norton? I have deleted two of them but kept the latest one, as it looks like i will receiving a lot more of these emails.

You can check the validity of the emails by checking the sender's address here.  Is this email from Norton legitimate?

I'll flag your thread for an admin to look into the scams.
