For the last two days, every time my PC is idle the Norton scan starts running. It is causing the hard drive to run so loudly that it attracts my attention as I am working on another PC. when I reach over and shake the mouse I get a message that the Norton scan finished. When I check the scan history it only shows full scan from earlier in the day but this thing is running EVERY 10 minutes so obviously the history is not being updated. I am so frustrated that I am either going to turn off Norton completely or replace it with a different software if I cannot get this to stop. Can anyone help?
