I have both Norton Internet Security and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed. Yesterday, Malwarebytes warmed me that it had stopped a program and that I needed to restart my computer. I restarted and went on my way. Today, I got the same message and did a little research. I found that website that says this is a bad virus.
www . removewindowsspyware . com/fixerror-exe/secoh-qad.exe.html
The .exe creates a .dll file with the same name. They are both located in C:\Windows\
If I right click on it and scan it with Norton, Norton says it's okay. I ran File Insight and it also said it's okay. Malwarebytes, always flags it as a virus and prompts me to quarantine it and restart my computer. I went into safe mode, did a full scan with malwarebytes and made sure the files were gone from C:\Windows\ then restarted my computer. A few hours later the .exe was back on my system trying to run itself again. I also did a full scan with Norton and it said my pc was clean. I REALLY don't want to format my computer. Does anyone have any advice on getting rid of this?
