Norton Secure VPN Blocks Printer Offline

I cannot print to my local network printer Canon Pixma TR8620) with Norton's 360 with Lifelock VPN running.  In order to print, I must first disconnect the VPN, then print, then reconnect the VPN. Followed instructions in Forum for a similar post to remove all, reboot, turn on VPN, install again but still happens. I am running Windows 11 Pro. Need a process of steps to correct problem

You both are most welcome!! Glad we could help. Enjoy the weekend as well.

@NWDoodle and @SoulAsylum ....  I want to seriously thank you for your guideline, I followed the steps and it finally worked. I am connected.

Thank you so very much.                                                                                                                                                                                                    Have a great weekend.

@Mema You can get the correct software for your printer here. That may correct your issue as it did for  NWDoodle.

Updating the Epson drivers with VPN turned on seems to have fixed the issue

I cannot add my printer due to being blocked by the VPN and when I turn it off, I still cannot add my printer. Trying to add a HP deskjet 3772 it states it cannot be found. When I follow HP guidelines it adds printer to world web and I do  not want that. Adding printer to an HP laptop Windows 10

How can I add printer to VPN so it stays secure

Hello. The first question is, does Windows 11 properly see the printer and was its software installed correctly? Are you running Windows 11 in S mode? This site is the download for your printing software, make sure you select Windows 11.

Problem Resolved

Hello ravewc. I'm following up to see whether the suggestion posted earlier corrected your issue. Can we assist further?

Hello ravewc. In your VPN settings set split-tunnel and add the printer software you are using to it. https://community.norton.com/en/blogs/product-service-announcements/enable-split-tunnel-norton-secure-vpn

Try this: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v63987985 It sets the network trust to full so nothing gets blocked
