Lost all my Norton Secure VPN installations in iPADs and iPhones.
Message ist “Abonemment is inactiv”. After deleting, reinstalling and logging in again I get white screens and nothing happens. I also see that the VNP connection has gone and is not asking to reinstall
Have you checked your Norton Account > My Subscriptions to ensure your VPN subscription is still valid? When is it due to expire?
Yes. Norton Secure VPN contract with 5 devices is valid until mid 2025
Do you also have Norton 360 iOS installed? If so, it is possible that there is an issue having both installed. There have been issues reported here when both are installed.
If you do have 360 installed, it is recommended to use the VPN feature there and uninstall the standalone app.
I have the exact same problem . Previously had VPN installed on several IOS devices on a standalone 5 licence subscription, which renewed in April as confirmed in my account billing. VPN stopped working around time of renewal, “Restore Purchase” within VPN app fails with “Your subscription is inactive” error message. I then attempt to sign in to account within the app and end up with the blank white page. Have uninstalled / reinstalled … no joy.
I do have a single VPN licence associated with a Norton 360 subscription for Windows which is working on one iPad. Is this somehow mucking things up?
Can anyone help with this, or point me to where I can talk to Norton directly on this (it’s not easy to find this on the Norton website).
I would suggest you both contact Norton Support and have them help get your subscriptions sorted. No one in the forums can access Accounts or Payment information.
Contact Norton™Support - Norton Phone Number, and Chat Support If using Chat, as soon as you can enter information, enter Agent Please to get connected to a real human.
Thanks peterweb. I will try this.
No, I don’t have Norton 360 iOS installed
I’m having the same issue . I started it in May 2024 so I have until May 2025. Blank white screen after log in. It never asked me to log in again before now .
I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times . I’ve even gotten a
Message saying I’ve used all of my seats . Whatever that means .
Chat was no help last night .
If you have a subscription to the standalone Norton Secure VPN,log into your Norton Account and click on the user icon at the top right and click on My Subscriptions. Find your VPN subscription and click on Manage Licences. That should give you an idea of whether all activations have been used or not. If you see duplicate entries you can delete those by clicking on the trash can beside that entry. That should free up the activation for you to use.
Don’t know what happened, but now I was able to install Norton VPN on all devices again.
I changed nothing. Maybe Norton or Apple had an update which solved the problem
Good news. Possibly some backend issues with the Norton Servers.
