Norton Security 8.8.3 removes firewall settings

I'm running MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 on an M1 MacBook Pro.

Norton Security 8.8.3 removed the possibility for detailed firewall settings.

E.g. no way to turn stealth mode on/off

Is this on purpose?

Am I the only one having this "issue"? 

Does someone have a fix?

Got the update to 8.8.3. again.

Now the settings are there as usual.

Must have been an update issue.

I got 8.8.3 on my Intel Mac mini.  It does have the firewall settings for stealth mode etc.  I haven't gotten the update yet on my 14" MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon, so cannot test on the M series processor yet.

Interesting.....Whenever I get the update pushed I'll check to see if I have the same issue.

I got it this morning. 

In the meantime I reinstalled Norton 360 just to make sure there weren't some problems during installation.

For now it's only at 8.8.1

I am not seeing the 8.8.3 update.  I am still on 8.8.1 and live update does not fetch the new version.

 

Do you know when this new version was pushed to your device?
