I currently have Norton Security Deluxe - 3 Devices that will expire in 30 days and bought a new Norton Security Deluxe - 5 devices from Amazon; can I use the amazon product key to renew my current one by entering it into the Norton client and will it stack the subscription for all 3 devices and upgrade to 5 devices? Or do I need to uninstall my current one when it expires and install the new 5 device version? Thanks in advance.

There are different number of devices covered by the Norton subscriptions for different markets in the world. You are correct in that most places seem to have the 5 devices for the Deluxe version.

I thought Norton Security Deluxe was always a 5 device licence product? It is Norton Internet Security which has the 3 device licence.
You can use the new key to renew your subscription without any need to reinstall your product. Just click on Renew from the main NS screen and look for a link for I have a key or code. Be aware that when you enter the new key your remaining time on the old subscription will be lost. So wait for one or two days remaining before entering the key.
You will have to enter this key into each of the devices you are covering with your NS subscription.
