Hello,
I have Norton Internet Security 2011 and found the following in the Security History today:
Alert Summary:
Severity: Information
Description:
Statistical Submission: Setup.exe
CSIDL_DRIVE_FIXED\hp\apps\app24723\pcdr\setup.exe
Detection Digest: 03 00 EA AF 01 00 03 00 E8 DA 1F 02 CD 7C EE
A7 80 79 A9 D9 00 00 00 00 D5 4A 1A AC FF 02 04
00 31 A5 00 00 04 03 00 00 32 19 03 05 00 01 02
.1.......2.......
01 00 00
There was anothr one before that with less details:
Severity: Information
Description: Sample Submission: Setup.exe
CSIDL_DRIVE_FIXED\hp\apps\app24723\pcdr\setup.exe
I've never seen this before. Can someone explain what this is?
Thanks much,
Cody

Hi Bombastus,
Do you know if Symantec provides any feedback? I'm curious as to which file it is.
Thank you for your answer.
Cody
No, they do not get back to the user and inform him or her about the properties of the file. It is for the Symantec database of known files. There should be nothing to worry about regarding this particular file, though.
