Norton Security: Using Help>Get Support invalidly modifies HOSTS file

This is on Windows 8.1.1 x64 Professional with Norton Security V22.0.0.79.

My HOSTS file contains 33,212 Hostnames and is managed via program HostsMan.  The HOSTS file is "optimized" with 9 Hostnames per line as illustrated below.

When I go to Help>Get Support, Norton Security runs a Norton Autofix on my HOSTS file because it does not like the fact that my hostnames include om.symantec.com and stats.norton.com.

HOWEVER, instead of just removing om.symantec.com and stats.norton.com, it removes 2 full strings of hostnames or 18 hostnames.  I do not agree that it should remove any hostsnames from my HOSTS file, much less removing entire strings of hostnames.

This is same problem that I randomly experience per my forum post at

http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Security-Norton-Security/3038-103-error-during-quot-Full-Scan-quot-scan/td-p/1152074

where a Full Scan via Norton Security randomly generates a 3038,103 error because om.symantec.com and stats.norton.com are in my HOSTS file.

I have uploaded a SymNRA error log of using Help>Get Support.  It is under my siliconman01 user name and the file uploaded is named NortonSecurityErrlogs&HOSTSfile.zip.  The file includes my HOSTS file before running Get Support and after running Get Support.

This problem also exists on NIS 2014 and was reported more than one during beta testings of NIS 2014.
