Just completed a chat with Norton rep. No solution except to delete Norton. Rep was not aware that Norton is aware of issue and is working on a fix.
Is this on a Mac computer?
Are these files you are developing yourself? If so, you need to set up a folder for your projects and exclude that folder from all Norton scans. You need to exclude from both settings in the image below. This image is from a Windows system, so you may have to look around if you have a Mac version.
