Norton shut off in sleep mode

    My Norton NIS turned itself off when I had it in sleep mode,What would cause this?

I was going to say why shouldn't it have a nap while the system is sleeping but I think you may mean that when you bring the system back to life that NIS does not restart?

 

If this is what you mean, someone else is reporting something like this with Norton 360

 

Could you please clarify and tell us what version of NIS you have -- that's in Support / About in the format nn.nn.nn.nnn where n is a number -- and what version of Windows including Service Packs and whether 32 bit or 64 bit. Also what browser you are using and its version number.
