Norton skipping so many files in manual scan

Hello,

 

Sometimes I'm doing manual scan in critical system areas(Temp,system32 etc) for ensure

my system safe or not. But somehow Norton 360 skips so many files in this areas, dont know

why it just happens. My biggest concern If a trojan/vırus infects in this folders and Norton

doesnt scan them? Same thing happens on compressed files too(Winrar) Norton cant scan

some files in winrars, (they dont have passwords).but now my first concern is files not winrars.

 

Any idea why this happens in system areas? Maybe file size so huge, and norton skips them

for gain more faster scan time? Here, Im put a screenshot about this: hope this helps

 

(I'm using Turkish language, so "Atlanan dosyalar" mean "Skipped Files")

Your Norton product is working correctly, every so often a person will post about this and I was one of them.  Norton recognises that the file has not been used or changed so skips it.

You may have compressed file scan turned off but when the file is unzipped auto protect should find any problems with it.
