Make sure Auto Update is disabled. Updater still runs & advises items need updating - do not update for reasons listed above. I had it set to OFF but it still updated a couple of apps and a Windows Preview Update. Checking settings, these still showed Auto Update as OFF. No way apparently of turning it OF - OFF
