My LAN port on my mobo got fried after a power surge through the coax cable so I had to get an usb to ethernet connector.
Every now and then I would lose internet connection, especially when I am downloading something at maximum speed. I have to disable my internet and enable it again for it to start back.
I always thought it was because of the usb to ethernet connector but it was norton. I look at my history and this is what I see:
