Norton spam with paid subscription

Why am I still, after so many attempts to remedy the issue, receiving pop-up marketing from Norton for additional products or features? I've turned off "Special Offer Notification", so you Norton shills please keep quiet.  I'm done with Norton. 138 days left on my subscription for my company, and we are now looking for other options.  This marketing is so intrusive and interrupts our work with constant pop-ups. Goodbye Norton, after 25 years.

Yes, the marketing people are clearly pulling the strings.  My Norton 360 was updated tonight and after a system restart I discovered this new marketing addition to the software---the feature is at the bottom right of the Norton 360 window (see attached screenshot).  It doesn't appear that Norton is going to change their heavy handed marketing anytime soon, in fact they're actually getting worse by the day. I'm personally looking forward to the end of my subscription because it's getting to be too much.

Unfortunately, you are not likely to get any official reply from Norton. They have decided to let the marketing people take charge of their product. So we are probably going to see this spam until the upper management realises that this method of operation is hurting their business.

Still waiting on a valid reply on why a Norton product, for which I pay a subscription, is spamming me while I'm working and trying to upsell me on additional product despite the fact I have turned off "Special Offer Notification" in Settings.  My subscription is up in June, and I have no intention of renewing until this is resolved. In fact, I'm going to turn off auto renew right now.

I call it unwanted spam too, regardless of its intention.

NORTON, DO NOT CLOSE THIS THREAD WITHOUT RESOLUTION!!!!  I've posted about this issue before (How do I stop all Norton advertising popups? | Norton Community), and you closed the thread without resolution. I noticed that you buried this one after you sent an email stating it was moved.  Stop doing this!!!  I'm not renewing because of your intrusive spam. Acknowledge this problem in the forums and stop it!

Forum threads are closed automatically after 30 days with no activity. Nothing to do with whether an issue is resolved or not. This keeps the information in open threads current.

If your thread was moved, it would not have been buried. In fact it would have appeared at the top of the forum listings for the new board it was moved to. Just that no one had anything to add at that time.

You are correct one of those images was an offer to move to a more comprehensive security suite solution.

Matt, you are wrong.  See the image titled "norton 2020-10-08.png".  This is an advertising to upgrade to Norton 360 with LifeLock.  This is a product offer which is free for the remainder of the subscription and then charges the the product and the new rate. This is not a message encouraging me to use features that I have paid for with my current subscription.  I do not appreciate being lied to.

The messages you reference in your note are all to encourage you to use features you have paid for with your subscription. These are not advertisements to purchase anything. For example, using backup can help you in case of a ransomware attack, so you can recover your data.
