Norton Systemworks for Windows 7

I am getting my laptop ready for an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 when it comes out next month. I just updated to NIS2010, but a Windows 7 compatible version of Systemworks Standard is not yet available.

1) When will the update be available?

2) If it is not available when I upgrade to Windows 7, should I uninstall Systemworks first or leave it installed?

3) I just bought a new three user license from Frys - will the product key be usable on the system when it is running WIndows 7?

Also, a little off topic: I still have an unused NIS 2008 product key that I was going to use to extend my subscription on this computer when it expires in a few months. I know it works for NIS 2009, because that is how I extended my current subscription (with a different NIS 2008 product key). Will it work for NIS 2010?

Thanks,

Greg

I understand that Norton Systemworks is being discontinued.

Your 2008 product key will work for 2010.

If NSW is being discontinued, what is taking its place and when?

There will be no substitution as such for NSW. The best thing you can do is to look at this comparison chart below to see what meets your computer needs:

Norton Utilities in combination with NIS could work as a sort of replacement.

Why would I buy 2 software products when one was enough?

Not good for the budget.

Hi jfrca1

Higher you go more you get.

Same with software, Vista B, Vista HP, Vista B, Vista U.
