I think the problem with Norton Toolbar disappearing in Chrome was, in my case, due to the ‘Skype one click’ extension installing itself in Chrome. I had tried un-installing Chrome then logging off then installing Chrome and going through all the resetting when I realised the Norton Toolbar was still missing. I was setting up my Home page when I saw the ‘Skype one click’ jigsaw piece at the top of the screen, I’d never had it until I re-installed Chrome. I then un-installed ‘Skype one click’ and the Norton Toolbar reappeared. I have no idea how ‘Skype one click’ got into my PC because I have never asked for it to be installed.
