Hello, All. I came here yesterday after trying for several hours to recover my Norton Toolbar that "just vanished". I have a 10-month old Qosmio Customized laptop thats a whole lot smarter and faster than I am. I am 55, definitely NOT geek-caliber in my computer skills. By far, the easiest way for me to recover the lost toolbar was to use the Norton "un-install/re-install" repair tool. After following the instructions, then finally rebooting after the re-install, the toolbar was recovered. Its format was a little different, but I had been running the original version that came with my 360 software 2 years ago. Now, if you notice, the 2 year timeline doesn't fit with my new laptop. My desktop that originally had the 360 on it, got smoked by a direct lightning strike to my home in August 2011. It took until Feb., 2012 to get the damages all taken care of, and the Qosmio built and delivered. Norton allowed me to transfer my remaining 360 coverage to the Qosmio. I have trusted Norton for almost 10 years, now. I've stayed with Them, and They have stood by me. Take care Everybody, Happy New Year!!!!!!!
