Norton update to support macOS Tahoe?

Issue abstract: macOS Tahoe support

Detailed description: We have not seen any announcement on the official support of Norton 360 for macOS Tahoe. It’s releasing in a few hours to all the users. So, it would be great if someone from the Norton team, lets us know if it’s compatible or not. Why hasn’t any official announcement been made?

Product & version number: Norton 360 Premium latest version

OS details: macOS Sequoia 15.6.1

Good question. Another, is the fact that this is the FINAL OS upgrade to Mac devices that are Intel CPU based. Future releases ( annually ) will focus solely on M series CPU based devices in 2027. How Norton is and will approach on both those questions should also be in the release statement going forward.

It looks like they are really being irresponsible when it comes to posting announcements for mac users. I am pretty sure, they have millions of Mac users and macOS Tahoe beta has been available for months. They should have posted about the compatibility announcement a few days or weeks ago. This is not how a company with millions of users operate!!

Norton is aware of and taking action regarding the announcements issues. They ARE listening. Companies are “thinning the head counts” like a domino event these days, I have no doubt that is the case with Norton. A restructuring is more than likely afoot. I do know that more resources will be added to make the announcements more timely and accurate. When, I am not privy to that information.

I installed macOS Tahoe and so far Norton 360 is running w/o any issues. So it’s compatible!!

Thanks for the update, good news indeed. I figured that if Norton or Apple had identified something in the release that would be a functionality issue an announcement would have been made already. And a new version change notice presented accordingly.
