Hello, I got the same problems with all my devices after the last GUI update. Restart, reinstallation, repairing- nothing helps. Reinstall works for about 2 days, then the same problems come back. I think, that we need a hot fix.

@bibbes What is your OS, its version and build? Do you have an Intel CPU that is 13/14th generation?

SA

I can try it - An other device with Windows 10 had have the same error and with several reboots it now run normal.

Hello SoulAsylum,
OS is Win11 26100.4652
Prozessor: Intel(R) Core™ i5-14600KF on my Desktop, but Generation 9 on my Laptops, also Win11
Has this anything to do with my problems?

The Restart solves the Problem! - Thanks!

@bibbes All your computers are seeing the same issue? Just trying to clarify. Did you use the version 25.xx removal tool when you removed Norton, AND, removed all folders labeled Norton, Avast and Symantec, rebooted before reinstalling Norton?

@SoulAsylum
Yes, I did it lke descibed before. The only thing is, that I did not found an AVAST-folder, all other folders were deleted manually after removing by Norton Remover. Currently the problem came not back since 2 days, but last time it also took a few days to come back. Did you inform R&D, that users have problems with the current version?

Norton is aware of this issue and others. Unfortunately, here on the forums we don’t have any access to what is being worked on nor a timeline for it. Please let us know if the issue returns. Others are posting that it does indeed return after a few days.
