I have just recently installed Norton Utilities 14 on both my PC and laptop. Both computers have Microsoft Word 2003 installed on them. I've always had 'Allow starting in Reading Layout' switched off, but since I've installed Norton Utilties 14, whenver I run Clean Your Disks, it re-ticks 'Allow starting in Reading Layout'. I go into Word and untick it and everything is fine until I run Clean Your Disks again. When I run Clean Your Disks, I select everything under 'Clean Window Settings' and everything but Cache, History and Address bar in 'Clean Browser Settings'. Does anyone know now to stop this from happening? I bought Norton Utilities specifically for the Clean Your Disks function because the Microsoft Clean Disk function was continually freezing and failing, so unfortunately, that's no longer an option.
