Norton Utilities 15 breaks Windows 7 functionality

I installed Norton Utilities 15 on my Windows 7 Ultimate machine and now I can't pin websites to my taskbar. I used to be able to right-click on the Internet Explorer icon on the taskbar and choose from a list of my favorite sites that I added to the menu. But after running NU15, the list is gone and so is the option to add the sites. Anyone know how to fix this? I don't dare run NU15 (a program I paid for) in fear of what other functions it will break. Don't they test these programs before they release them?

UPDATE: Upon further digging, it appears that "jump list" functionality for Internet Explorer is whats broken. The browser history no longer appears and I no longer have my list of pinned favorites. This clearly broke after running NU15 and I can't find any way of restoring the functionality. I can see NU15 clearing the history (although it should warn me before doing so) but for it to break the function is unacceptable. Again, don't they test these products before release?
