Norton Utilities Premium disappeared

I recently updated my Norton 360 standard. I had also been using Utilities Premium (I had been sent a link to it as I'm on auto renew subscription).

Since the update to Norton 360 my utilities Premium desktop short cut has disappeared and I don't see it in my list of programs. I would have thought that it would be a part of the Norton security folder.I downloaded Utilities Premium again but when I try to install it I get a message to say that it is already installed. But I don't know where! Very frustrating! I've tried to  "Chat with Norton support" but have given up as I haven't managed to get through to them.

Thanks for posting back with a solution.

Thanks for your advice. Since I posted the problem I managed to speak to Norton help and resolved the issue.
I was asked to go to “control panel” then “Programs and features“ searched Norton Utilities and then uninstalled the program from there. Then downloaded again and reinstalled which fixed the problem.

Did you try a search from the Windows Start button?

Have you restarted your computer a couple of times since the update to 360. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled.  If you use Windows 8/8.1 or 10, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
