Norton Utilities Subscription

I have purchased a subscription to the latest version of Norton Utilities and have to re-enter my name/email/product code each time I start the product. Why! and how to not have to do this...

Hello porcupine,

Norton Utilities isn't a subscription based product, so the product key that you have needs to be used with whatever version you purchased.

Is the product key for version 14 or version 15?

version 15 is what I remember. I had v.12 prior to that...

Apparently, Utilities needs to be installed to the default folder, i.e., C:\Program Files\Norton Utilities 15. I removed my original install and reinstalled using the defaults. Tested in a varity of ways/combinations/restarts and it appears to be holding my purchased access code. It works. Good enough.

Recently, I bought NIS2011 with NU included.  I understand NU v15 was released last year, the procuct I bought has v14.  Is there upgrade support?

I wanted to know if you can purchase Norton Utilities 15 via disk, instead of via a direct download? I would prefer the disk option myself, and also; is Norton Utilities 15 the newest version of this product?

Are there plans to release an updated/improved version of this product before the end of summer of this year? ( approximately August of 2011? ) If purchased priorly, are we upgraded if you have a newer version available?

Also, the product pricing on Norton's own Products page for Utilties 15 is $49.99. Is that the correct price, and does that last beyond a year, especially if purchased on disk form? If we already own another Norton product ( say Norton 360 5.0, like I do presently ) do we get reductions on other products like the Utilities 15?

Thank you very much, and would appreciate an answer to these questions as soon as you can.
