Norton utilities

Just renewed on-line 1) internet security 2011 and added 2) utilities.  Will I get cd in case my computer crashes and I neeed to reload 2) cant find utilities to use?

Could you please provide some essential additional information about the product you are using and the version (go to Help & Support and click About). It would help also if you could let us know what Operating System you are using and the service pack level - if applicable. What errors did it show as "not fixed" and what scans were you doing at the time?

Use Task Manager to see what is running and then you can end whatever debugging progam you have running.

Thanks for the reply. I restarted my computer this morning and the program loaded without a hitch ! What ever was running obviously isn't now.

 

I have to say I was a bit dissappointed though when i started the program up and I'm glad i went for the trial version. I already have the pc tools reg mechanic and this just seems to be the same program but rebranded.

I have Norton Utilities 14.5

On the ISA server, did you created a custom "Allow" firewall rule for the Norton Utilities process?

 

C:\Program Files\Norton Utilities 15\nu.exe

The purchase option on the activation screen brings me to the internet with out a problem, but the activation button fails to see the internet connection I have allowed the program through the firewall it made no difference it still will not see the internet. I went as far to disable the firewall sit still does not see the internet. Is there a specific port it needs open?

Hi,

 

you need to run more things as well, not just Registry cleaning to get a higher System Health notification. Once you are done with the Registry cleaning, please run eg. Clean your Disks and / or Defragment your Registry as well.

I cannot activate my Norton utilities I have entered my product code many times always comes up activation failed check product code is entered correctly anyone have this problem and my days have run out .
