I haven’t been able to see anyone else talking about this, but Norton v24 seems to have removed button the pause button for scans along with the sleep for setting, both of which were two features that I greatly used. Without the pause button in the scan menu, I just get stuck in a debate between whether to stop a running scan (especially if it is a full scan) or to just wait it out (which might take who knows how long when its combing through a 5TB HDD). Back in v22 I could just pause that scan for a moment, let my main process complete, and then let the scan continue, but not in this newer version. Same thing for the ‘sleep for’ button, if Norton was hogging up resources and slowing down the rest of my PC, I could just tell it to sleep for a bit, but not anymore.
