Woke up one morning and lost Norton Vault in Chrome. I reinstalled 360 and Chrome no luck. When I go to Settings in Chrome I am able to see that vault is enabled but no icons or Norton toolbars appear. In the right hand corner there is an app for Norton Toolbar I only have three choices, remove from chrome, manage or hide button.
I have an issue with my Vault. I am able to login to my vault but all but four of my my website logins disappeared. When I view my Norton Identity Safe homepage that also shows that I have only 4 logins saved.
Please note that before I went to bed last nght all my logins were there.
Any advice/help would be much appreciated.
Be sure you have run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.

What happens if you choose the Manage option?
Thank you it worked.
You can create one cloud vault for each Norton account.
SET UP NORTON PASSWORD MANAGER
On the top-right corner of the browser, click the Norton Password Manager
button and sign in to get started. If you cannot find the Password Manager icon, you can download the extension.
After you sign in with your Norton account, you need to set up an online vault. Your online vault is where you store your passwords and other personal information and secure it with a master password. After you set up the vault, Norton Password Manager prompts you from time to time to save, update, or fill in information from your vault.

To set up Norton Password Manager, each user should have a Norton account and an online vault.
If the user has an existing Norton account, it can be used to create the online vault.
If not, you can create new Norton accounts for other users.

I just installed Norton 360 and activated the VPN. I have the same problem. I cannot open the password vault. I also stopped being able to send email with Outlook. The only solution I found was to deactivate the VPN. I hope this can be resolved. I upgraded my Norton Security mostly to have the VPN, but won't use it if this isn't fixed.
I have tried 6 times and it keep coming up in red which is a error warning that something went wrong try again
Mae. Log into your vault BEFORE activation of the VPN. I have another thread HERE, where I am having the same issue.
Cheers
I have had problems with opening password manager in Chrome also. I use Norton's VPN and enable it before opening up Chrome. This week, when I try to open up password manager in Chrome, the page would try to open then bump me out. I set up the Cloud to backup my password manager, I tried uninstalling the extension in Chrome and reinstalled it. I finally tried turning VPN off, then it worked. Then I had to turn VPN back on again. This defeats the purpose of enabling the VPN prior to getting on the internet. Am I missing something?
I did open early today but right back where I started from vault will not open now.
My browser is chrome....
Chrome Beta?
I launch my vpn before I came on and now it want let me open my vault.
Norton Secure VPN?
....and Feedback Hub keep popping in and out so I know there have been a task where it will not open been added on web.
Feedback Hub is a universal app bundled with Windows 10. It is designed to allow users—and in particular, Windows Insider users—to provide feedback, feature suggestions, and bug reports for the operating system.
Windows Insider?
Thank you I notice whenever I try to open vault Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Content infer before I can open it. They are popping in and out in task manager for your information. Yes to the question I ask in forum. it was dolve.
Hi @Mae King,
Thanks for reporting in Norton Community Forums. Norton Account login issue should be resolved by now. Can you please try again and let us know the current account login status?
Thanks for that very concise update.
I am a bit fixed in my habits and do not have any inclination to start swapping browsers to solve the problem.
With regard to Internet Explorer I am inclined to endorse your comments in full.
It is of course interesting to note that the same or similar problem appears with different browsers but the culprit (for want of an expression) is not one and the same. On a similar strain I have had many problems where sites refuse to accept or respond to automatic log in's from Norton Vault.
There isn't a single one that has been resolved in my experience despite following the Norton advice and submitting details of them. Of course they make no commitment of guarantee to resolve such issues in any particular timescale or indeed offer individual feedback on such submission. In consequence again I am left in the dark not knowing whether these sorts of issues are down to Norton alone - OR indeed the many web sites that give me issues. I personally don't think this is good form from Norton. As my next subscription approaches I will be reviewing the position and will not hesitate to vote with my feet (metaphorically speaking).
At this point - on each restart of my PC I am going through three "log in's" to get to my vault.
This is still inconvenient - BUT - a little quicker than logging out of Norton Security and back in again.
If this thread is followed by others with the same issue there is at least some comfort that the fix is as yet no existent but at least there appears to be a "workaround" that , thus far has been successful to me.
