Dear Community,

Detailed description: Norton virus database update download is pending

Product & version number: Norton 360, 25.10.10528 (build 25.10.10528.959)

OS details: Win11

Problem: Virus definition download in progress. Technically live update is pending for hours.

This problem is still existing even after restarting Windows and login as Windows admin account. I had no such problem before. My internet access is also fine.

@Lordie The first suggestion is to follow this guide, clear your Windows cache/temp files. Reboot and retest again.

If that doesn’t clear things reset your Norton install, reboot and retry. Please post your progress so we may follow-up!!
