Norton VPN on iphone

Keeps disconnecting every few minutes , worst ever VPN I have ever had . I only have it because I get it for free from my ISP . I have tries posting here before but every time I did I got an error message and I gave up

I have heard from my Norton contacts that it does seem that the error reporting feature seemed to have been turned off in the Telus version of 360. I have been updated to say that the error reporting feature should now be available.

Please see if the Send Error Report is available now.  If so, try again to create logs showing the issue you are seeing.

Thanks

I meant not the wifi

Its only VPN that keeps disconnecting kit the wifi

As there appears to be an issue with the version of 360 you are getting from your ISP, I would suggest contacting Norton Support. With your permission, they can connect remotely to your device to try to diagnose what is going on with your VPN connection.   www.norton.com/contactcs   If using the chat function, as soon as you can enter any information, enter "agent please". That will get you out of the chat bot and connected to a human.

At the same time, I will try to get some information on why the logging feature is not offered in your copy of 360 iOS. Looking at one of your images, it looks like your ISP is Telus in Canada. Is this correct?

One last confirmation. Is it just the VPN that keeps disconnecting, or is it your internet connection keeps failing?

No luck , the issue still exists

I will try that and let you know

I still suggest reinstalling your Norton product as I suggested above. Let's see if that helps anything.

here

I don't know I don't see it with or without that option enabled its norton 360 version 2.82.0.20240305.67. and its through the ISP , that might be the problem...

I still see the Send Error Report even with the Debug logging option turned off.

There may be an issue with your Norton being provided by your ISP. I would suggest uninstalling your 360 and restart your device. Then use whatever process you used to reinstall 360 from your ISP.  Then test again, starting with enabling the Debug logging.

I tried this after turning the "Enable Debug Log" option on but still don't see the "send error report" option

Yes. You set up the logging and then use your device until your issue occurs. In your case when the VPN gets disconnected.

Be sure you went into iOS settings and scrolled down to Norton 360 app and tapped on it and turned on the Debug logging setting. If you did not do that, it would explain why you do not see the Send error report option.

After you send the report, go back into iOS settings and scroll down to the 360 app and then turn off the logging again.

I don't have "Send Error Report" option you can see in the attachment . This forum does not accept jpeg files ? very inconvenient

OK , I will do that. o I will send the error report when I get disconnected right? , I get disconnected every time i put my phone down prety much and have to either wait or turn wifi off than on rightway when i pick my phone up

Just for testing, try turning Safe Web On.

This does sound like some possible issue with some other app that is on your device. So it looks like you should send logs to Norton so they can diagnose what is causing your issue.  Start by opening iOS settings on your device and scroll down to the bottom where the apps are listed. Tap on the Norton  360 app and tap to Enable Debug Log.

Now use your device until it causes the issue you are having. Then open the 360 app and tap on the three bars at the top left, then tap Help. Tap on Send Error Report and fill in any information requested. In your submission, please include "forum 'your username' " in the Case ID section of the report. Also include a link to this thread.

If you do send logs, please let me know and I'll notify my contacts to look for them.

and safe web is already off

I am on ios 17.4 on iphone 13 pro max. Installed Norton about 9-10 months ago and no other VPN as I have Norton

What device and iOS version are you using? There was a new version released a few days ago. 17.4.

How long have you had 360 installed?

Any other security or VPN apps installed?

As a diagnostic step, try going into the 360 app and tap on Security > Internet Security and turn off the Safe Web feature and test.
