I'm a virtual Newbie at this kind of thing, so I hope I getting my inquiry stated and done properly.
I recently upgraded my OS from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I never had any problem with the Norton Toolbar or Identity Safe... as long as I used IE 11. Checking my Norton Security product, I found that I had the latest version (Ver. 22.5.2.15). Today, I applied "The Patch". Here's my dilemma . I can't seem to find any info as concerns just what "The Patch" patches. Does, after applying said Patch, mean that the Norton Toolbar and ID Safe are now usable/will appear when using the new Edge Browser? If Yes, fine... I'll check it out. If "No"... can someone tell me just what the Patch does do? Since I was not having a problem, was applying the Patch simply a redundant install?
