Norton360 and Norton Internet Security, do I need both?

I somehow now have Norton360 and Norton Internet Security, do I need both?

Hi jennetg,

No you do not need, nor is it adviseabel to have both programs loaded and running at the same time.

More info in regards to if either is a trial version, which one you have a license for (and is it still current)?  Any info you can give into how you may have gotten both installed would be helpful in assisting you getting rid of the correct one and maintaining your current license for that product.

Not sure how I ended up with both, but they autonewd on 11/15/2013 Norton 360 and 11/28/2013 Norton Internet Security. Just noticed it on my credit card statement.

How do I go about removing and which one should it be? Can I get a prorated refund or use toward next year's subscription?

Thank you

You can contact Live chat, explain the situation to them and they should be able to provide guidance as to your options..

Also there is info in the follwing link in regards to refunds - but I do believe it is only good for 60 days .

 I'd contact chat first!

Yank,

Thank you so much for your help!

You are quite welcome, please let us know how things go.

Issue resolved :) the NIS was cancelled and added to my Norton360 subscription. I checked before contacting support and found out NIS was not on my C drive, which I thought I was a good thing, but I was still paying for it :(

Thanks again for your help!

Glad everything is sorted and you are welcome!
