I am running Windows 8 and clicked the fix now several days ago and norton's stills indicates fix in progress. I downloaded the remove and reinstall file and tried it but nothing happens. What to do next.
Have you restarted your computer?
Do you now or have you ever had another security program on your computer? If so, you will have to remove it with the removal tool for that program.
It is a new computer and I was running NIS for the free 60 days then renew NIS and every thing was fine for a couple of days then when It indicated to check for new updates was when I had the problem. Yes the computer has been restarted several time. Thanks for the reply. Jim

Today I finaly got to talk to someone at norton's and they were able to remove and reinstall. Thanks for the replies. Jim
