Drilling down via the new NORTON 360 for Windows Users Interface options to “Security” —> “Security History” —> “LiveUpdate” History —> to any “Live Update completed” with Status being Successful —> Time (posted) —> clicking on the Right Arrow option (->) to open up the “Advanced Details” page confirms that the specific “LiveUpdate completed” and the “Result” was “Successful”…BUT no longer shows or names the specific type or types of what was LiveUpdated and downloaded…as did the old version of NORTON 360 LiveUpdate Security History. And, clicking on and opening up the Available Actions —> “Open LiveUpdate” returns the user to the Norton LiveUpdate option to Check for updates…again. This does not provide the name or names of the type or types of LiveUpdates that were downloaded and installed on this new version of Norton 360. I want to know that information as was available and provided in the old version of Norton 360.
V24.xx has a lot of features, settings, user control etc ‘missing’. Cannot now switch OFF or control many features as before. Will NORTON now be refunding us customers due to Norton’s removal of these features we have already paid for?
This morning another Norton sales pitch for email protector app - more money required if you are daft enough to subscribe.
yes, the old version showed you a detailed description what was updated.
You can use the
button in Norton.
I doubt, that the exact information will ever come back.
