Every time I Log onto my VPN, I get a dialogue box asking me if I want my settings to enable the change. It says VPN is trying to change the system settings. Shouldn’t Norton have already made these setting changes in my system. It only applies to my transparent proxy setting which is always “red” until I update my virus definitions. Even when I click ‘cancel’ the transparent proxy setting that is set to
red, eventually turns green anyway. Is this normal?
I’m running a MacBook Air 2019 with intel chip; SONOMA.But I get this same question pop up on my iMac2019 running Sequoia. Both running latest version of Norton. The dialogue box asking for permissions to change my vpn settings doesn’t have a Norton icon.
I am Norton 360 + VPN. What I don’t understand is that the transparent proxy turns green anyway, even when I select cancel two times?? If Norton has full disk access shouldn’t the vpn settings already be configured? Thusly, the reason why I’m asking the question. My friend’s computer doesn’t ask for this permission. All with the same configuration as mine. Thanks for your answer, but Sparklight (IP) is as useless as a cow urinating on a flat rock. Again, thanks for taking the time to answer.
