NOT What You Think (Rule Default Block UPnP Discovery Stealthed Port 1900 - Inbound UDP Packet)!

Hello,

So I noticed in my logs this:

"Rule Default Block UPnP Discovery Stealthed (192.168.1.101) Port SSDP 1900 - Inbound UDP Packet"

Notice the (192.168.1.101).

My computer is 192.168.1.100.

Now as far as I know, there are no other computers on my network.

Why would I get an inbound request from this ip?

I have read all the related posts to do with this in the forums,

many say the router can make a call/shoutout to the devices in the network.

However, I'm sure my router's IP address is 192.168.1.1.

Therefore, this IP, 192.168.1.101,

has to be another computer somehow hacked into the network making the call...

Right? Or can my router use another IP to make a UPnP call?

Would that be common or not?

Please help me clarify what's going on in this bizarre log entry.

Thanks so much for your help!! :smileysad:
