Detailed description: When I click the extension icon to open the Norton Password Manager it goes into a continous spin cycle and never prompts for the vault password. Can open the vault on my windows 10 machine and my iphone. Can open it through the web interface on the problem windows 11 machine. Just won’t open from the extension icon. Have removed and reinstalled the extension, rebooted a dozen times

In Edge, when I click the NPWM extension button it brings me to a new tab that just spins and spins (the screen that normally shows up to ask for your vault password never appears). I’ve also tried clicking set up on the Password Manager tab of my desktop’s Norton 360 program. That opens a browser and asks me to log in to my account then just spins and spins when I try to access (click on) the password manager tab (the screen that normally shows up to ask for your vault password never appears). I’ve updated my system, rebooted, and reinstalled Norton all with no luck.

Did you try with VPN off?
Did you try Sign Out all Norton > cycle browser > Sign In…as test?
Did you reinstall Norton Password Manager…as test?
Did you try new default Edge profile with just Norton Password Manager…as test?
I was finally able to get it to work on Edge by scanning a barcode square (provided by the “Already using the mobile app?” tab under the “Sign In” tab) instead of using my email and password through the “Sign In” tab to log in to my Norton account when prompted after I clicked on the NPWM icon at the top of my Edge browser. I then signed into my mobile app, which popped up from scanning the code. When I went back to Edge and restarted the browser everything worked as normal and I could log in to NPWM. I’ve previously restarted my computer, signed out of Norton completely, updated all software, restarted my browser, etc… After the last computer reboot I tried NPWM on Edge, yet again, and it did not work but when I restarted the browser and did the procedure mentioned above, it worked. Maybe coincidence or maybe what I did helped?
I have exactly the same problem with W11 Firefox - install appears to got well, have done all the steps listed above & get the same result - click on the PWM icon and just get the three rotating displays - the first telling me to sigh in with no option to sign in. Is NORTON fixing this? It’s one of the reasons I have a 5 license account
All: I’ve been seeing the issue where, NPWM would not unlock the vault and just spin. On Edge and Opera GX. The solution for me was as it was for another user here, closing my browser and reopening it allowed the vault password to unlock it. Initially I would get the trash in the screenshot below:
