I'm about to buy an Android Tablet, as yet unknown. I wish to install a spare NS licence,
Questions -
Does the tablet have to have the minimum spec for a pc install NS ?
Alternatively, is this the correct software for tablet ? Any other pros - cons appreciated. Cheers !
The only way I can see to create an Android image with Macrium would be copying the entire Android install to a Windows device and creating an image of it there.
Compounded Although ChromeOS is a derivative of the Android OS, there are enough differences that make it incompatible with Norton.
Peter is correct. NS is not supported on Chrome OS per the link I provided.
All good info.Cheers !
One last query ?
Can you image a whole android tablet; in a Macrium style. Alternatvely, clone an android tablet, in the same vein ?
SoulAsylum: Hello ITMA. Yes indeed there is an OS restriction. Android 8 or higher is required. I use Norton on all my mobile devices, all Android 14. Works great and without issues. All are activated under my license for Norton Security Ultra. https://us.norton.com/products/mobile-security-for-android

Hi there.
I'm having a look at CHROME BOOK. Is ChromeOS an Android derivative, or does the reverse apply ? Although there's a notion of Chrome Book, no security product required. Will NS run on Chrome Book ?
So, is it Android Tablet or Chrome Book ? Any heads-up appreciated.
