Had to switch from Norton Internet Security to Norton Security.
No problems uninstalling NIS and installing NS, but then it started going wrong.
But, not only did NS kill one of the programs I wrote, which I fixed very quickly, but NS also killed my MS Visual Studio 2010.
I can no longer compile any of my programs.
I have been searching the Internet for a solution but have found none.
I am currently running NS on a 30 trial and would like to be able to fix this problem before the remaining 16 days are up or I will be forced to use Kaspersky instead.
If so, I will no longer be recommend NS to all my friends because I’m always the one who has to help them with their computer problems.
Also, if I have to switch to Kaspersky, I would like to get the money back I paid for the NS activation code.
Also:
NS creates enormous amounts of history entries. It has generated more than twice the amount of messages in 14 days than NIS did in two years.
My computer is running slower since the “upgrade” to NS.
NS is blocking:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SVCHOST.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\RUNDLL32.EXE
ADOBEARM.EXE
