NSc.exe Error (0x0000142)

At least once a day I get the following pop-up message on my Windows 11 computer.
NSc.exe The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000142). Click OK to close the application.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hello dbaron99. By chance did you have / do you still have a trial version of ANY antiviral software that came on the computer? Is Windows 11 running in S mode? Are you logging into the computer under an admin account?

You may need to perform a removal of Norton using the Norton removal tool, reboot and reinstall your Norton product. Making sure you run live updates to get all the latest updates.
