Thanks for all your support. Is there any way to get someone at Norton to review what we have done and see if they have any suggestions, or do I need to contact them directly?

At this point in time and all we have done I am leery if the Norton techs can help you, but it might be worth a try. I will also ask a norton employee who has assisted in the past for assistance and hope we can get somewhere on this.
<edit> Just sent PM to Norton contact - keep you finegrs crossed that they can assist>. Be patient, I am not aware of their schedule.
Thanks again. I'll be waiting patiently.
BTW, we just received the update for NSS to version 20.3.1.22 and also the NTB Add-ons for FF 21 - see my post on Comcast Forums. You may desire to run LiveUpdate vai the System Tray Icon and see if it does you any good.
Ran the Live Update and updated to 20.3.1.22 and still no luck, Is there any way to run the Norton Registry Cleanup from the command prompt?
More info. When the NSS GUI came up I was able to click on Tasks before it disappeared. It brought the Task GUI up and it stays up, but won't run any of the tasks when I click on them. However, it did let me get into settings and I was able to turn the Tamper Protection off and rename the dll, but still no luck.

Way beyond my knowledge, not to mention my comfort level on the open forum.
You see, I have seen more registry cleaners mess up systems than repair systems, especially those which remove keys prior to giving the user a choice.
<edit> Still have not heard anything from Norton.
Hello mg2112,
Sorry to hear that you are unable to start the Norton product. Is the problem resolved now? Please let us know the details.
Thanks!
Vineeth
No, the issue is not resolved. If you review this string you will see everything about the issue, and what was done to try to resolve it.
Thanks.
Hi mg2112,
Thansk for your patience Vineeth will be looking into this for you and hopefulyl be able to figrue something put.
Thank you!
A few more steps:
1. Can you try updating the Graphics card and see if that solves the problem? You need to restart the computer after updating the driver.
2. If that doesn't work, then open tha Task Manager.
On the Processes tab, in the list of processes, check for the process 'svchost.exe' or 'svshost.exe' with the description 'winrscmde'
If you see the process with that description, let me know.
Thanks!
Vineeth
Hi Veneeth,
Have already updated the graphics card, with no luck, and neither svchost.exe or svshost.exe are runing.
mg 2112,
In regards to the scvchost or svshost - please ensure you are displaying processes for all users - check ark in lower left hand corner of Process Tab.
Sorry for the delay. I checked processes for all users and neither scvchost or svshost is running.
