I Have a situation where I need to recover some files from an old backup set.
1. System was running Win95
2. The set was created either with Norton Backup or the backup in Norton utility's.
3. The backup was created Jan 1998.
4. There are 39 floppies each with a backup file PCBACKUP.001 - .039.
What created this situation was my wives sister and her husband decided to replace there mothers old 95 system with a new one.
Not realizing she need to save her genealogy files she has been working on for years (8K entry's), they wiped the old system and disposed of it.
