Online Family not blocking https sites in firefox

when i setup up the rules to block certain sites the https version of the urls are not being blocked. The browser we use is Firefox. Thanks

Last year this posting indicated that someone was working on a fix for the https problem.  This is where the parental controls will not block https access for web sites in the blocked list.  I have this problem today.  Is there going to be a fix, or has it been fixed?  My kids know this workaround and it essentially negates having a list of blocked sites..

Can you give me an example of some sites which are not blocked?

 

You are specifying these sites to block, and not blocking them by category?

This can happen if the Norton Safety Minder extension is disabled in Firefox.

 

To check this, go to the machine where Norton Safety Minder is installed, Launch Firefox, go to the tools menu and select add-ons, make sure that the Norton Safety Minder addon is enabled.

i cann't block https://mail.google.com, plz tell me if there is any way?
