Online Family

Getting an invalid ssl certificate when login on to online family. tried resetting password and rebooting a couple of times with identity safe turned off and on. not sure if i should uncheck ssl 3.0 in advanced internet options.

Windows Vista; NIS 2011; From the NIS program window, I click on the Online Family icon at the bottom, the login screen appears and identity safe fills in my email address but not my password. I click on password box and put in my password. I click on the arrow and then a box appears that says Online Family system status:  Invalid SSL certificate.  Try again.   I can still access Online Family from web sign on, just not through the program window. Also in my Manage Logins screen for this particular login, I have Require Identity Safe password unchecked; Auto-fill bullet checked, Enable login to be auto-submitted checked; Let me fill log-in bullet unchecked.

Hi danbran,

Thanks for the detailed information.  Unfortunately, we haven't been able to reproduce the issue yet.  Could you provide some additional information so we can try again?

1.  What's the edition of the Windows Vista, ex Ultimate?

2. Is the PC running 32-bit or 64-bit ?

3. Could you give us the exact version for NIS?  You can find the information at Support -> About in NIS.

Thanks,

Katie

My laptop has Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2,.... It is a 32 bit PC,.....and the NIS version is 18.5.0.125.

danbran,

Thanks again for the update.  We'll check into this.

Thanks,

Katie
