Online storage space available is not correct

I had a rather large backup set online. I restored all of my files to my computer sometime ago and it took forever. So I thought I would delete the one online and create a new backup, only with absolute essential files, so it would be smaller. It would not let me delete the one I had because it was the only one. So I created a smaller temporary one & then was able to delete the larger one I no longer wanted. However, when I view details of my online storage space, it's telling me that I have 29.2 GB of available space, with 50 GB of total space. There is obviously still something there that is using all that space.

What I want to do is delete any backup(s) I have online and start over. Is that possible?

Did you upgrade your online storage? Is the 50 GB total amount correct?

50 GB total is correct. I'm not sure what you mean when you asked if I upgraded my online storage. I did upgrade my Norton 360 to Norton 360 Premier Edition though. It came with the 50 GB. I think that's when tings started getting a little squirrelly with the online backup. Is it possible for me to wipe out whatever is out there and start over or do I have to call Norton?

I asked about the storage total because 360 Premier comes with 25GB. See   http://us.norton.com/360-premier-edition/

I do not use 360 so you can wait for others here to chime in, or you can contact Support via online chat for help.  You can find them here    www.norton.com/chat

Please let us know how it goes, so others can learn.

Hi

Instead of renewing if you upgrade or purchase a new Norton Prodct which comes with Online storage space then the Backup space will Add-up with your previous product. If you had a N360 Premier before and if you purchase a new after its expiry then the space will add-up together and show up as 50GB. Open Backup->Manage Backup sets->go to Where the tab at the top -> Click on Click here to activate -> activate by entering your password-> then on the same where page, at the bottom click on Delete Backed up files then select the previous Backup sets and then delete them.

That worked, thanks.

Was this a special promotion with 50 GB storage?. Premier usually comes with 25 GB.
