Maybe January 2022 for the release? Its great news for preventing browser copy/paste theft in clipboard. The article over on Bleeping Computer is a must read. Thinking I may enable "developer mode" to see if I can get the feature and see what its all about.
I've done the install of Opera 83 BETA yet I do not mine so I cannot yet determine if the paste protection feature is included. See my other post thread here. https://community.norton.com/en/comment/8520933#comment-8520933
I have version 84 of the Crypto developer installer downloaded, not yet installed. Opera 83 same, same. Haven't had the free time to install either as of today. I will do so ASAP and try to provide feedback for the community.
Do you know if the stable Opera 83 for Windows (released 20-Jan-2022) includes the secure clipboard with Paste Protection?
The 22-Dec-2021 BleepingComputer article Opera Browser Working on Clipboard Anti-Hijacking Feature that you referenced stated that when they tested this feature in a developer version of Opera that "IBAN and Bitcoin wallet addresses qualify as sensitive data that require protection, but strangely, credit card numbers, email addresses, long passwords, and SSNs aren't treated as such". They also speculated that this new security feature might land in the stable version of Opera 83 when it was released in January 2022.
I'm not clear now if Opera has any plans to use Paste Protection for anything beyond crypto wallet addresses (i.e., if the main purpose of Paste Protection is to protect crypto wallet addresses pasted into the native non-custodial crypto wallet being built in to the customized Opera Crypto Browser you posted about in your 20-Jan-2022 thread Opera BETA Web 3 / Crypto Browser Initiative).

Opera is also working on another added feature named Polygon, which will be an Ethereum scaling platform that will give users in-browser access to thousands of de-centralised app (dApps) that live on the Polygon network. It will begin with the Android browser which already has some Web3 features.
