Hello everybody,
I tried searching for this first and did not turn up anything that I haven't already tried so here's my prediciment.
I currently run Norton 360 Version 3.0 on Microsoft Windows 7. [I know it's not official yet, I will reference that later] on a Sony Viao Laptop. 4gb/320gb HD, Intel C2D T5800.
My problem is this: Starting about two weeks ago [about 3 months into owning N360] I have started getting the notice that I need to FIX something. In particular, it is my DISK OPTIMIZATION. It claims I need to run it, so I do. I click FIX. The scan starts but finishes within a second and produces NO results, just a blank screen. Every other scan works fine and is not acting abnormally.
I tried uninstalling, using the removal tool, and reinstalling and that seemed to work for roughly three days before it started doing it again with the same issue. I try to run a complete scan and it ran the test with the same effect as running it by itself.
Here's what I see when the scan is "done":
Now back to the Windows 7 thing. As someone who is very well sound in my knowledge, I would not have upgraded to windows 7 if I knew Norton 360 would have a problem. I upgraded to 7 less than a week after installing N360 for the first time and had ZERO problems up until recently.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
